Summer at Columbia

On-Campus Housing

Summer at Columbia offers on-campus living for all our immersion programs. Living on-campus provides you with the following benefits:

For Commuters

Summer at Columbia also allows for a limited number of students (a maximum of 21 commuters for the 2018 cohort) to live off-campus and commute in to campus everyday. Although we STRONGLY recommend students live on campus, living off-campus during the program could be an option for you if:

Both on-campus students and commuter students receive the same meal plan when they enroll in Summer at Columbia. Weekly meals include 5 lunches, 3 dinners, and 2 weekend brunches per week.

Students will be responsible for all other meals, so be sure to bring a debit or credit card with enough money to feed yourself for 3 weeks. We recommend a minimum of $100 per week of spending money for meals. All dorm rooms also come equipped with full kitchens, so students are also welcome to prepare their own meals.

All college-hosted meals will be provided by our catering partner, Catering by Michaels, and will be served in the 1st floor of the 731 S. Plymouth Court dorms.
