My daughter loved the Summer program and was bummed when it was over. She made a lot of new friends that she keeps in contact with. She really enjoyed her class and activities.
— 2018 Summer at Columbia Parent

Summer at Columbia is a three-week program that offers high schoolers a deep-dive into the creative industries. Classes meet Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am until 11:50 am without exception, and attendance in the course is mandatory, since students are graded.

For more information on Summer at Columbia course policy, please visit our CREDITS AND GRADING page.

In addition to classes, the program operates around a detailed schedule that is shared with all students and parents/guardians before the start of the program via Google Calendar, which is accessible via invitation from the Office of Continuing and Community Education.

At no time is the Summer at Columbia schedule available for public viewing. It is only accessible to students, parents/guardians, and Summer at Columbia staff and faculty.
